Fleet & Logistics Tech / IoT / Mobility India 250+

Not every funding announcement needs to be loud, but it does need to land with the right people. trackNOW had a compelling story sitting right in front of it: a women-led fleet tech company backed by one of India’s most respected industrial groups. The job was to make sure that story reached investors and enterprise buyers instead of getting lost in the daily churn of funding news. MediagraphixPR built the campaign that did exactly that.

trackNOW: What They Actually Do

Fleet operators lose money in ways that are hard to see until you’re actually tracking them, and that’s the gap trackNOW was built to close. It runs a fleet and logistics platform that gives businesses real-time GPS visibility, smarter route planning, and IoT-driven safety tools all in one place. Geofencing, SOS alerts, live trip monitoring and AI-based driver scoring work together to help companies, from cold chain operators to oil and gas firms, run tighter operations and keep their people safer on the road.

The Challenge

trackNOW was a women-led company stepping into a sector that has historically been anything but easy to break into. The funding round gave them an opening, but only if the visibility around it was strong enough to matter, and with the story needing to travel across India rather than stay boxed into one city or one media market, the stakes on getting that visibility right were even higher. The goals we worked toward were clear:

  • Turn the extended seed round into a genuine national story, not a quiet line item in a funding roundup
  • Build trackNOW’s credibility as a serious name in fleet automation and IoT-driven transport safety
  • Show why trackNOW stands apart, with real cross-sector relevance in a logistics tech market that’s only getting more crowded

How MediagraphixPR Made It Happen

We built the campaign around the seed round led by the Poonawalla Group, but the strategy went well beyond just announcing a number, which is usually where funding PR work either turns forgettable or actually lands.

  • The narrative itself became the story. We framed the raise as a genuine milestone for women-led innovation in an industry that rarely sees it, which gave the news an angle worth covering beyond the funding figures.
  • Leadership carried the message. Pooja Khemka wasn’t just a name attached to the release, she was the voice people actually heard. Her story gave trackNOW something a funding number alone never could, a founder journalists could put a face to and actually want to write about.
  • Coverage was placed with intent. We targeted startup, tech, mobility and business publications specifically because that’s where both investors and enterprise decision-makers were actually paying attention.
  • The press kit did the heavy lifting. Every quote was curated, the product narrative was kept sharp, and the sector relevance was spelled out clearly, all of which made editorial pickup far easier to secure.

The Press Release

Poonawalla Group Backs Woman-Led trackNOW with Undisclosed Extended Seed Fund to Expand Operations

Delhi NCR, 28/01/2025: trackNOW, a Gujarat-based fleet management and telematics company led by women and already carrying industry recognition for its work, has closed an extended seed round of an undisclosed amount. The round came from Yohan Poonawalla, Chairman of the Poonawalla Engineering Group, and Michelle Poonawalla, Managing Director of the Poonawalla Engineering Companies. This follows an earlier seed round the company raised in FY24, backed by GI Ventures and BluSmart co-founder Anmol Jaggi, capital that helped push trackNOW’s growth plans forward.

This fresh investment from the Poonawalla Group goes toward building out trackNOW’s R&D and sharpening operational efficiency, strengthening its position in India’s logistics sector further.

Founded in 2016 by Pooja Khemka and Suyash Khemka, trackNOW has built a genuine reputation for solving fleet management and tracking problems in ways that actually move the needle, cutting turnaround times and operational costs across a wide range of industries through technology that’s been recognised for its intelligence and design.

“Investing in promising startups like trackNOW is not just about financial returns,” said Yohan Poonawalla, Chairman of Poonawalla Engineering Group. “It’s about mentoring and empowering young, visionary entrepreneurs by providing them with the resources and support needed to succeed. We believe in the transformative power of innovation and are committed to fostering an environment where groundbreaking ideas can flourish.”

Michelle Poonawalla, Managing Director of the Poonawalla Engineering Companies, called the partnership a reflection of the Group’s commitment to empowering Indian entrepreneurs, adding that it stands to unlock real value for both trackNOW and the wider Indian economy, through job creation, sharper operational efficiency across sectors, and a stronger position for India in the global logistics market.

Pooja S. Khemka, Co-founder of trackNOW, described the Poonawalla Group’s investment as a strong endorsement of the company’s vision and a mark of how hard the team has worked to get here. She added that the partnership brings more than capital, it comes with mentorship and industry expertise that the team considers just as valuable.

The Poonawalla Group’s footprint spans engineering, pharmaceuticals, real estate, socio-economic initiatives, and green technology, and it brings that same weight of strategic mentorship and investment know-how to trackNOW. This latest move fits a broader pattern for the Group, backing India’s next generation of entrepreneurs and putting real capital behind innovation across the sectors that matter most to the country’s economy.

trackNOW’s technology sits at the center of everything it does, delivering real-time tracking for fleet management, mobility, and IoT applications through an app built for both Android and iOS. Users get graphical reports, AI-based driver behavior scoring, and analytics that help sharpen turnaround times across the board. The platform is already trusted across sectors as varied as Coal, Oil & Gas, FMCG, Cold Chain, Education, Agriculture, Construction, and Healthcare, and it offers Platform-as-a-Service for businesses that need ERP integration without the usual friction, or solutions built around their specific setup. Its recent ‘Excellence in Innovation’ win at the Logistics & Supply Chain Conclave reflects exactly the kind of impact the platform has had across logistics and fleet management as an industry.

About trackNOW

trackNOW has been building toward this moment since 2016. What started as a fleet tracking idea has grown into a full transport intelligence platform, giving businesses scalable fleet management, live trip visibility and behavioural analytics they can actually act on. It’s also a good example of what India’s startup scene looks like when it moves past the usual consumer app playbook and builds for the unglamorous, genuinely necessary infrastructure instead. Its Platform-as-a-Service model makes ERP integration painless, which is a big part of why sectors as varied as FMCG, education, oil and gas, and healthcare all rely on it. The ‘Excellence in Innovation’ award at the Logistics & Supply Chain Conclave wasn’t a coincidence either, it reflects the kind of transformative impact the platform has had across the logistics space.
