What MediagraphixPR Actually Did Here
A plant inauguration is easy to undersell. Cut a ribbon, issue a release, get a photo in the trade press, and move on. Zavenir Daubert‘s new facility deserved better than that treatment, because it wasn’t just a new building, it was India’s first fully automated chemical plant, and that distinction had to carry the whole story.
- We built the press release around what would actually make a journalist stop scrolling. The announcement was drafted journalist-first, with headline-worthy framing that gave editors an actual reason to run it, not just a routine facility update buried in a press digest.
- We tailored the pitch for the audiences that actually cover manufacturing. Messaging went out differently depending on who was reading it, mainline press got one framing, trade and auto publications got another. Mr. Saket Bhartia, Director at Zavenir Daubert, became the face of the story too, positioned as the person actually driving sustainable, tech-forward manufacturing rather than just a name attached to a quote.
- We delivered coverage that actually moved the needle. Twenty-plus media placements landed across ET Manufacturing, Autocar Professional, The Machinist, and Economic Times Auto. That translated into over 600 million impressions, plus 7+ organic social mentions picked up on relevant B2B platforms without anyone paying to push them there.
What Zavenir Daubert Actually Does
Zavenir Daubert operates as a leading Indian manufacturer of specialty chemicals, with a sharp focus on corrosion protection, rust prevention, and metalworking fluids. A strong foothold in the automotive and industrial sectors has made the company known for combining serious technology with genuinely sustainable manufacturing practices. The launch of its new facility in Binola, Haryana, marked a real milestone too, India’s first-ever fully automated chemical plant.
The Challenge: Turning a Plant Opening Into a Market Statement
A ribbon cutting on its own wasn’t the goal here. Zavenir Daubert’s new plant in Binola, Haryana needed to land as something bigger, especially in a sector like manufacturing, where most facility launches barely make it past a trade publication, let alone into the kind of coverage that actually shifts how a brand is perceived nationally.
- Generate widespread media buzz around the facility’s opening. Not coverage that stayed inside the manufacturing trade circle, but the kind that reached readers who’d never think twice about a chemical plant otherwise.
- Spotlight its status as India’s first automated chemical plant. A first only counts for something once the people who matter actually know about it and believe it’s real.
- Position the plant as a strategic lever to achieve Rs 1,000 crore in revenue by 2030. A plant opening on its own doesn’t mean much to most readers. What made this one worth covering was the number behind it, a single facility tied directly to a growth target that big, and that’s the connection the story had to draw out clearly.
- Amplify leadership positioning and the brand’s innovation-first vision, so the announcement built lasting credibility, not just a one-time news cycle.
- Maintain consistent visibility across trade and mainstream media post-launch, instead of letting the story fade the week after the ribbon was cut.
Press Release
Zavenir Daubert Inaugurates India’s First Future-Ready & Integrated Specialty Chemicals Manufacturing Facility in Binola, Haryana
Targets Rs 1,000 cr revenue from new Haryana facility
Monday, 10th February, Gurgaon, Haryana: Zavenir Daubert, a leading manufacturer of specialty chemicals, focusing on corrosion protection and metalworking fluids, today inaugurated its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located at Binola in Haryana. Esteemed dignitaries from Daubert, USA, and Nihon Parkerizing, Japan along with key Indian executives of Zavenir Daubert inaugurated the plant.
Zavenir Daubert put Rs 100 crores, roughly 10 million USD, into building this facility, and that money says a lot about what the company cares about right now, innovation, sustainability, and playing an actual part in India’s industrial growth. A tenth of that spend went straight into advanced software, so Industry 4.0 isn’t tacked on here, it’s part of how the plant runs day to day. Running at full tilt, the facility can produce 1,200 kilolitres of chemicals every month, most of it feeding into automotive, steel, and construction, with automotive alone making up 70-75% of what the company does today.
The new facility will not only cater to a fast-expanding domestic market but also certain overseas markets. Employing over 100 employees, the facility is spread across ~2 acres of land comprising end-to-end production capabilities. The new facility is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certified, reflecting its commitment to quality and environmental management.
Currently, Zavenir Daubert has an annual revenue of INR 150 crores. With this new facility, the company aims to scale its operations for 7X growth, targeting a revenue of Rs 1,000 crores in the next five years.
Saket Bhartia, MD, Zavenir Daubert India Pvt Ltd, said, “This new integrated future-proof facility is an expression of our full commitment to our vision of ‘Global Technologies, Made in India’. There are many aspects of our new integrated facility which are not only India first but first in the industry too. At the forefront of smart manufacturing, our plant is designed to rely on advanced haptic technology. Our 10,000 square foot Technology and Experience Centre at the plant will serve as the hub of our innovation. With highly advanced equipment and cutting edge facilities for corrosion testing, tribology, microscopy, and chemical analysis, we offer Indian industries access to globally benchmarked technologies.”
Mr. Peter Fischer, Chairman, Daubert Group, Zavenir Daubert India Pvt Ltd, said, “The new facility is a testament to our commitment to innovation, a core value driving us toward our Vision 2030. It is here that global technologies are adapted for Indian needs, evaluated rigorously, and demonstrated to create measurable value for our partners. Through this facility, we have taken a significant big leap in technological innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, further setting new benchmarks in the industry.”
The company isn’t stopping at Binola either. A second plant is already on the table for West India within the next 3-4 years, one that will run at double the capacity and double the investment of this current site. Between the two, Zavenir Daubert is putting real weight behind its position in the market while adding meaningfully to India’s growing manufacturing base.
Sustainability is at the heart of operations at Zavenir Daubert. From the ground up, the new plant is designed to minimize environmental impact, 100% solar power generation, zero effluent discharge, water conservation systems and non-polluting power backups. In partnership with Daubert USA, Zavenir Daubert integrates global technologies with local manufacturing capabilities, adhering to international standards. The new facility makes Zavenir Daubert one of the leading and biggest specialty chemicals manufacturers in corrosion protection and metalworking in India. With a leadership position in the metal cutting and protection space in India, Zavenir Daubert is extending its footprint in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Sustainable practice and continuous innovation aren’t just talking points for the company, they’re what keeps it in step with a global market, and the safety standards that come with it, that never really stop moving.
There are many aspects of the plant which are not only India first but also industry first. At the forefront of smart manufacturing, this plant is designed to rely on advanced haptic technology. This innovative approach delivers enhanced precision and efficiency in every process. Starting with raw materials handled by Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and storage in the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), all production processes such as dosing, blending, filling, and labeling processes are powered by cutting edge articulated robotics. This intelligent process delivers unprecedented levels of efficiency, product quality, and fulfillment performance, setting a new benchmark for the industry.
About Zavenir Daubert
Zavenir Daubert built its business around corrosion protection technology from the start, and it now works with clients across the auto, engineering, and infrastructure sectors. Getting a story like this one in front of the right editors took genuine media relations work, the kind built on actual relationships with reporters who cover manufacturing seriously, not a mass press release blast hoping something sticks. The company keeps pushing outward nationally too, with automation, export readiness, and green chemistry as the three things it’s not willing to compromise on.
